This photo was taken on the very last day of filming in front of the courthouse. The Director; Charles Martin Smith, was the best director to work with. He made many contributions to the story and we became great friends. You might recognize him from the many films he starred in over the past 25 years. My favorite was the classic film, "American Graffiti" where he played "Toad."
The animal trainer, Debra J Coe, is a dear friend of mine. As a professional animal trainer for the past 20 years, she taught me many things about making a movie that helped me to perform certain scenes. She was also the trainer of the stunt doubles in the film, Rush and Chase. In most films, you have stunt doubles that perform certain dangerous scenes. In this movie, doubles were used in the bathtub scene and for climbing on and off the roof, as well as for certain other scenes. If you look closely, it's easy tell where the stunt doubles are used by looking at the dogs' faces.
Together, Charlie and Debra also worked together in the classic film, "Never Cry Wolf." They will always be close and dear friends and the memories we shared will last forever.

This photo was taken just before the scene when "Josh Framm" (played by Kevin Zegers) is allowed to keep me as a stray. His mother decides to put a bow on my head and present me as a Christmas gift. I think this is a great photo. Kevin Zegers was a great kid to work with. He was very talented and professional for the age of 12. I think he has a bright future and reminds me of a young Tom Cruise. We had so much fun shooting this movie. Making a movie can be very stressful. You wouldn't know it from all of the fun we had. I think that's why the film turned out so well, because it all seemed so natural. The memories I have working with Kevin will last forever. That's the best thing about making a movie; all the friends you make along the way.
